Dance Photography Playdate is a four-hour creative shooting session for photographers who want to spend focused, uninterrupted time working one-on-one with dancers, in a beautiful studio, creating great images.

You’ll have the opportunity to direct and photograph dancers individually, experiment with movement, posing, lighting, and timing, and refine your own approach through hands-on experience. There’s no formal instruction or demonstrations. Instead, you’ll have the freedom to explore your ideas, try new techniques, and make photographs at your own pace.

I’ll be there throughout the session to provide guidance, answer questions, help troubleshoot lighting or posing, and offer another set of eyes when you want them. The goal is to give you lots of time to shoot, experiment, and create rather than spend the day sitting and watching someone else photograph.

Bring your camera, lenses, and any lighting equipment you like. Come with ideas, or come ready to see what happens.

This is a chance to get out of your usual shooting routine, work with talented performers, and spend a few hours simply making photographs. It’ll be loads of fun.
